Invited by Prof. Bill Spencer from University of Illinois, researcher Guo Xun from department of Disaster Prevention Engineering went to Urban-Champaign, US from September 7th to September 11th for academic visit. During this visit, researcher Guo Xun investigated and surveyed various experiments and bridge structural health diagnosis application in Newmark laboratory, and took part in the seminar held by Prof. Spencer’s research group.
During the discussion, Mr Guo exchanged ideas extensively with related experts and got to know more about the recent research development in the field of structural health diagnosis, which lays the foundation for joint training of related talents. |
